Professor Mathu Ater, a long time student of Egyptologist/Historian Dr. Yosef A. A. Ben Jochannan and a proud 11 year apprentice of the late Lester Oliver Bankhead- Architect, is affiliated with the Los Angeles chapter of NOMA (National Organization of Minority Architects) and did a major lecture for then last year at the University of Southern California’s, School of architecture. He has been a part of ASCAC (Association for the study of Classical African Civilizations) since its founding (1984) and lectures regularly for them. Mathu is a graduate of the Pepperdine University Graduate school of Education and Psychology.
